4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

I think that issue is long solved, the letter from Toyota said SR and SR5 get the doughnut spare and the higher trims normal spare.

 

Is that a foot? Those look like toes , my 6 year old can draw that good

 

However, that is not true.

 

Oh ok, l thought in one of the Threads it showed a letter directly from Toyota saying it was just a marketing error and SR and SR5 are supposed to be equipped with the small spare.

 

It has the same meaning wether you think it’s a foot or a hand.

 

That may be true, but we know the OR also comes with a lame spare. I guess it depends on how you define “full size” or “normal”.

Does anyone know if the beds are the same between on the inside the 4th and 3rd gen? can the bed mats be swapped?

 

Are they ever the same? 2nd to 3rd wasn't. I highly doubt it's the case with the 4th gen

 

It looks the same from the videos i've seen and the mats i've found online, but want to see if maybe someone already tried to throw one in

 

It's been reported that the wheel wells are not in the same position relative to the front/rear of the bed.

Pretty sure the bed mat was the same from 2005 thru 2023.

I figured because canopies don't fit everything would be different

 

So in paid parental leave boredom and a break before my last 8 weeks of NP school still been 4th gen shopping. Almost every single one is held up with no ETA. Toyota really is screwing customers and dealers with this roll out. 400 mile radius plenty of built trucks, all stuck. Be interesting to see how pricing goes with the bottle neck.
