Come on, admit it, you'll drag it.
    That's part of the fun.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Get a bumper like RCI or Warfab that integrates the hitch receiver.

Video was done for likes. Toyota isnt giving the guy a dime for any of it. Warranty voided when stupidity ensues.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I know a lot of people do not like TFL and that's totally okay, I understand a lot of the complaints towards them. That being said your statement of warranty voided when stupidity ensues is terribly misleading. What they were doing was not stupidity but rather something that tons of members on this forum do on a regular basis aka off-roading. It would be one thing if they were full throttle rock bouncing, but they were not. There was light to moderate wheel spin on some slippery rocks and it let go. I expect my truck to encounter that exact same situation they were in and come back for more time and time again.

What I like about TFL is they're just educated consumers. They're not trying to be off road experts, or Toyota experts. There's plenty of Youtube channels of experts, too. TFL buys trucks and drives trucks. I agree that there was no intentional stupidity here. We've all done much stupider things.

True! I've done worse things than that to the 4Runner numerous times.

I don't see any stupidity here. Spinning the wheels a little bit to find some traction and gain a little momentum is a common practice. I didn't see any excessive mashing of the gas or the lurching and bouncing that can snap the CV axle. Looked smooth to me. In that situation, I'd have done the same. What do you think the issue is with his technic?

What else were they doing before the pop?
Might have broke there spinning the tires.
Could've weakened during some other shenanigan.

My mom is at my house going through old pictures, and she came across these. My Dad's Corolla, 1980-ish, SR5, and it was stickshift!

This car was probably a big reason why I'm on a Toyota forum.

    Hatchback, sedan, or AE86?

Edit: my Dad's was one of the last RWD Corollas. I believe it was an '80 or '82. The AE86 were the last RWD ones ('83-'87). The first FWD hatchbacks were more stubby looking.

Mother-in-law had one in brown that she bought new that we ended up buying. It had 2 removable roof panels, one solid the same color as the car, and one that was clear. I used the clear one for a while, but soon realized I didn't like driving in the blazing sun. I never wanted another moon roof after having that one. Was a fun little car.

    Sorry to hear that...

edit: My brother had some form of Renault back around '88. What a POS! It needed spark plugs, you had to pull the motor to get to the back one. He didn't keep it long.

My parents had a Renault Alliance in the early 1990's. We called it "The Appliance" because it had about as much horsepower as a kitchen blender. They snuck my brother & I into the drive in movies once by putting us in the trunk of that tin can. That's about the only fond memory I have of that shitbox LOL.

Edit: Bonus fake trivia points if anyone can guess where they manufactured the Alliance and why my family had one (along with every other model of AMC car ever made).
