    I understand. It doesn’t mean it’s smart.

Why? They are supposed to be reviewing the vehicles that us consumers can buy. Not modifying a vehicle the way they think it should have been built. That would provide no service to potential buyers.

Agree with both of you. I watched the video twice. The lack of situational awareness, poor communication and safety was what stood out the most.

    I differ.

I think they would better serve their audience by stating the tires are for the street, but they love going into the mountains, so we need to replace them with more appropriate rubber. Then do it.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at Toyota headquarters. And as pointed out by another members comment above, Chevy would be guilty of malfeasance if they didn't run with this.

And that engine noise...how are owners going to know if their engine has issues if it sounds like an engine with issues.

For what? It wasn't that difficult of a trail.

The truck broke. Get over it and stop making excuses.

What a pathetic display of fanbois antics. The truck broke while doing ordinary things that any truck or suv should be capable of, in the condition it was delivered from the factory.

Wonder if it was treated the way they treated the Tacoma?

They abused it and they broke it from misuse. Plain and simple.

Ok, be specific. What specifically constituted abuse and misuse?

They've been treating it exactly the same for a awhile. That trail was nothing. That axle or transfer case snapped like a toothpick.

Yep, but not like that since I don't want to break anything.
