I would have to google that. :D
Renault has had too many search hits today.
I wouldn't want to break the internet.

There was a cool version of the hatchback (FX-16)that came with the MR2 drivetrain in it. My brother had one for a few years. That thing was super fun to drive!

Without even conferring with teh Googles, I remember them being built in Kenosha as a joint venture in AMC's death throes. Geez, AMC's management made some (OK, alot of) poor choices.

Ding ding ding! And yeah pretty dark times for AMC. Before I ruined my parent's lives by being conceived after Homecoming (because of course that was my choice and all), my dad had every model of AMC that was actually cool: AMX, Javelin, couple of pretty rad Eagles with the 4WD, even wrecked a few Gremlins. I get born and the world gets cursed with the Le Car, Appliance, Dodge Omni / K cars. Very uncool.

High school buddy had a Javelin. He put a 401 in it. He often caused traffic slow downs. People had to wait for the smoke to clear up after he "lit-um up".

High school Drivers Ed class I learned to drive in a K-Car.

I guess that explains a few things.

Hey now, I can imagine the questionable decision-making skills and charitable heart of a Hyundai owner would be great things for a recently single guy!
