I believe ACLB sliders are the same as DCSB? Can anyone confirm?
And are they bolt on or weld on?

I just went through a hit and run (not on the taco) where the driver stumbled off drunk/high whatever else and went through the hassle of filing through my insurance. Drop me a DM if you want more details on what to look for (and let me know who you have for insurance).

Thanks brother. I ended up finding the dude who owns the car (it’s good to know peeps) he seems ok and is cooperative. He only has bare bones liability though, through a cut rate insurance company. I have Allstate. So far they’ve yet to really impress me through a few claims now. Coverage is generally fine, but working with them is unimpressive. I have to dig to get answers or to get actual pointed help.

My good friend was an insurance adjuster for a good shop in town (until a week ago lol) and is helping me as an independent adjuster. I stopped and saw him today and he said maybe $18-20k in damage, which won’t touch totaling it. He’s going to get it on a frame machine just to make sure it’s not slightly off.

Said I won’t be able to recover “loss of value” due to the minimal liability insurance the guy has and AllState won’t pay it out either since it’s my own underinsured policy. He did suggest that I get the truck deemed inoperable as the rear axle took a hit and shifted back a few inches, I can accomplish this by getting a four wheel alignment check and documenting the issue. From that, I can collect $75 a day for “loss of use”.

He also said it’ll be months before it’s fixed, because he just fixed a 3rd gen and the cab side panel is a part that’s months out on its own.

Now I need to decide what to do because I don’t have rental coverage, but I’ll continue driving it in the meantime, or take my Ruckus to work.

    I’ll DM you still though.

I should probably learn the rules more on if insurance insures the driver of said vehicle or just the vehicle etc. sucks for the owner who's buddy hit someone in his car. and sorry to hear all this is happening to you

I feel for the owner too, we’ve talked some and he’s been blindsided by it all. Sadly, he’s jobless (and maybe a vet, not 100% clear on that) and is trying to get on his feet but is about to get burned by this.

The person borrowing his ride had him believing I hit them and that my insurance was going to buy him a new car…then I had to inform him I have a dash cam and it clearly shows them running the stop sign and hitting me. Bummer.

I will be doing a rear suspension upgrade in the next 2-3 weeks and will be selling my old leaf springs and shocks. located in the aurora/denver area

OME dakar leaf springs. might be worth doing new bushings but other than that they are still in great shape no squeaks or noise. $400 obo

bilstein 5125 12 inch travel shocks (x2) $100 for both

dont have pictures yet because they are still on the truck but let me know if you are interested and I can reserve them for you

We'll see when people start making offers lower than what I want to sell for and I do like I did with my first gen and start swapping on cheaper / oem parts / worn out tires just to meet the price they want to buy it for...

    Time to let these go.

Toytec non-resi 2.5" coilovers with icon 14" 700lb springs #158508. This is a radflo based shock. I replaced one of the head studs that I over tightened, and have one additional head stud in case you do the same. I honestly don't know how many miles are on these in total, but they were rebuilt by our good buddy Tim at 303 shocks back in March 2022 and have been on the shelf since. I don't have an itemized list, but it was close to $400 worth of refresh this last round. I did notice some oil on one of them near the shaft. I am not sure if it's residual from when they were rebuilt or if there's a seal failing after sitting 2 years. Take it or leave it. My guess would be less than 50k total with this being my second rebuild.

Edit: the 700lb springs actually have about half the mileage of the overall shock. They were swapped at the first rebuild.

    $650 firm
