Foodies BS Thread.

I've done potato chips in the past, done those townhouse buttery crackers. I think next time we make mac'n'cheese there will be some Doritos on top. Now just need to decide nacho cheese or spicy nacho cheese.

 

Throwing this idea out there for everyone to ponder...

Place we go for dinner occasionally has Cool Ranch Doritos tator tots...I could eat a wheelbarrow of these things

I'm guessing they roll the tots in the doritos before dropping in the fryer

 

OK now I've started down the rabbit hole that is the Doritos recipes on their site. So many things look goof but are horrible for me.

 

Is it battered?

Prob just egg wash then to get the doritos to stick

 

I wonder if they crushed them up and mixed in while forming the tots or if they just use a cool ranch type seasoning.

 

Just stop already...I don't want to have to drive two hours for tator tots

Breakfast for dinner:
Denver steak with peach chutney, bacon grits and a couple eggs.

 

Snack time: Garlic butter mussels with texas toast.

Although with this bridge, 2 hours west of me is Providence....
