Never ridden any of them but think they are overpriced, overweight, and no performance. Ok then. I have owned just about every HD model out there from touring to V-Rod. For what they are designed to do they are great. By the way I'm not a Harley homer I also have a Honda RC51, and Yamaha RD400 in the garage.

I think there are some cool looking Harley’s. Just not my cup of tea. Now that RC51 you’re talking about is a different story. I’m too old to go fast anymore though. That’s why I ride trials.

Not that I need it, but might have found a project. He says it needs gas tank(didn't say if it needed hooked up or replaced), battery, and rear tire. He's right up the road, so I told him if he still has it next Friday I'd ride over and look.

I can’t remember what it is, but there’s a street fighter that was at our dual sport with big knobbies on. Rode the dual sport and some alternates. It had to be miserable lol

offer him 300 and see if you get a bite. Thoes SV650's are great bikes. TONS of aftermarket and swappable parts documented. 03 is the first year of fuel injection on the sv650 so win! 03-14 was essentially the same bike with some minor changes over the years.

They’re a popular track bike. Little massaging and it’s probably pretty good!

Once I saw it, I went Googling for when they got fuel injection
Even if he sticks at $500, I don't think it's too big a risk. I figure another $700ish and it'd be road worthy(gas tank, battery, tires, fluids, etc). I don't really care what it looks like.
I hope he still has it next Friday

I doubt it will need a tank unless its punctured. Probably just a pump which are pretty easy to swap for like 25-50 bucks.
