I have a stupid question, why are 300 Blackout uppers so expensive?

Anyone interested in a P320 X-Compact? Was my EDC for a good while but recently replaced with a 365 so the 320 just sits now. Wanting to fund another build..

P320 X-Compact with factory RMR cut (stock internals and controls except for Springer Precision red extended mag release)
Holosun 407k with custom 17-4 filler plate machined by me (slight ding on optic housing but functions flawlessly)
Olight PL Mini 2 Valkyrie (includes magnetic charging cable)
Springer Precision extended mag release (set screw stripped a long time ago and will need to be drilled out if ever replaced, I can do this prior, otherwise it functions fine and havent needed to mess with it since install)
Professionally Stippled Grip Module
T5 Kydex IWB holster
5 mags (3 are ETS, 1 has a Taran Tactical basepad, 1 being a 22rd with a NDZ basepad.. and 2 factory mags)
Has some other goodies like slide backplates (couple gold NDZ's), etc I can include. Plus all the factory parts and hardcase.

Pic is a place holder for now. I can get more detailed ones when I get home and pull it out of the safe. Looking for $900.

I have looked at specifications, but curious about the need to spend an additional $100 on toys (yeah ... I know!) ...

G43x has the K-plate ... Hx507 has multi-reticle where Hx407 has single dot. HE has variable intensity laser where HS does not.

Is HE-507K-GR really worth the $350 or is HS-507K-GR for $285 sufficient? I am assuming the multi-reticke is worth the upgrade ...

Go check out East Valley Tactical. Best customer service around by far and will price match everywhere. They also have a massive in stock inventory and will let you actually pick up and look at everything. I won't go anywhere else.

Also, the mult reticle vs non.. I run non on my pistol optics. Already small enough. The dots (3MOA, 6MOA, etc) are big enough.

 

Vouch for EVT. My new go to shop. I used to go to Merchant back in the day. The new Merchant- The Hub isn't bad either. I find better small parts at EVT.
