Tough times make tough people. Fortunately for me, my wife is tougher than a 2 dollar steak. Seeing them be sick and not really get much better after going to doctors, prescriptions etc week after week just wears you down.

For anyone wondering, it's not in the budget right now to redo the barn electrical setup, so for the time being I opted to just remove the wiring from the fuse box until I can get things together to do a proper job of it. For now 125' of extension cords will reach from the back deck outlet to the barn, to meet any temporary power requirements out there.

Get yourself a little duct tape or a proper k.o. plug and cover that hole, it’ll help keep the wasps out.

Got the crooked door made for the crooked opening on the coop built on a hill. Used two different hinges. The wire is turned different than the rest will be. This will drive me nuts every time I see it. At least the post are level.

So you have been on the receiving end of that one too... :fistbump:

You might say it is a heck of a shock to open an enclosure and find the little :censored: all charged up in there.

Paint the wire black... it'll dissappear so your OCD will be ok and you'll be able to see the chickens better.

I went to change the ballast on a parking lot flood, an old sodium vapor light. I was very lucky it was a cold day, because it was FULL of yellow jackets.

Ok, I know, nit picking. Im sorry.

Post are never "level". Post are "plumb" if they are perfectly straight up and down as well as back and fourth.

Whew! That was bothering me something fierce!

    Regardless, the coop looks great!
