I have no cool about them. Didn't even know they existed until I ran across the F9 vid. Is that a good price on it?

Rite rite. I just picked up my bike a little while ago from the shop. Was talking to the service guy about the CFMoto’s.

Take it for what it’s worth…

Long of the short, He said they are dead good bikes. He hasn’t seen anything that has been a real problem at all, and CFM has warranted things, that he said they probably shouldn’t have. Service guy says people just need to get past the Chinese thing, like America did with the Japanese in WW2. No one wanted any parts of ‘em or anything they made after the fact.

the bike I posted… hell you can get a shorty can muffler, made by S&S for it as a factory accessory.

Now, the guy could be blowing smoke up my ass. but says parts are easily available. I will point out that he did say they are made cheap (like everything) but as durable as a Suzuki DRZ.

That's good to hear. Reliability and parts availability are really my only concerns. Hell, CFMoto produces the motors for KTM and all 150cc and less motors for Honda are made in China. My Rally is made in Thailand. It's like anything else, you can have great things as long as the parent company is on top of QC. There's some "made in USA" things I wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole.

Would I love to support only certain countries? Of course.....but DC has made that impossible at this point.

I think it took 2.5 hours or so? Not too bad for a small dealership. Touch screen works again

It is an 1981 so it is suppose to have a front fairing and Hard bags on it. They are all missing including the hardware. Bike has some sort of electrical issue the seller says. Would be pricy to get back to original. Not horrible for a CBX though. I would pass as the 1979, and 1980 bikes are the ones to have.

That's not half bad. I got a buddy who has the 450 sport CFMoto and doesn't have any bad things to say about it. Seems like parts aren't too hard to come by either.

    shots fired! lol

just got word the R3 is done...bill came out a bit higher than expected, because virtually everything needed upgrading and/or replacing aside from the chassis/frame. Luckily my buddy who sold it to me feels bad and will reimburse me some of the cost to help.

I'm just glad its done, and ready to hit Chuckwalla later this month!

The 1979 and 1980 bikes command more. Great bikes, I mean who wouldn't love syncing six carbs!!!
