I wanna support SCOL, but $65 shipped for 8oz of oil and a small plug/o-ring?!

Gonna go with the GM oil instead…
Eaton oil can’t be worth 6x Amazon AC Delco

It seems like it isn't shipping them together which definitely isn't right. Might have to call or email them and ask wtf is up

edit: I just checked and I only got charged 18.50 for shipping a lot of parts needed to run the supercharger itself.

I agree. One doesn't cut it down nearly enough.

I actually just picked up a titanium dual voltage ac/dc tig welder this morning as gmaw/fcaw ain't cutting it with welding 304... Should have it setup in the next few days.. excited to run some 308/309 soon..

Actually I do remember messing with it before and after the rebuild and they never made contact in any way that was discernable to me. Maybe if you squeezed the ends that install into the blind bearings. Do keep in mind that the housing bearings play a huge part in keeping a particular tolerance between the rotors on that end of the assembly.

This is probably my 5 exhaust setup I've done in the last 3-4 years. I currently have a flow master delta resonator and dynomac turbo muffler setup. I think I will add more piping in between the resonator and muffler and replace the flow master with the vibrant.

Have a bunch of 304 pipe, vband and hangers otw. Quick mock up of what I had laying around earlier today at the shop.

Shipping seems off for sure as mine averaged $20 or so for a handful of orders.. after some review, I paid $30ish bucks a pop for those 2 threaded studs which still upsets me as I couldn't find an alternative. Ones I got were bent lol

I remeber when I first removed rotor pack I could clack them together and was like yep thats not right, when I got it back from rebuild they could still clack just as much. I was a little perterbed by this but assumed it was ok since the high speed lab rebuilt them. Im going to get in touch with other rebuilders out there and see what they say.

Yeah i didnt have that kind of interference at all. Definitely a tight squeeze but never to the point of it being audible to me.

This is exactly how mine was before and after rebuild.

Sent the videos to high speed lab and they want me to send the rotor pack back to be checked. Not stoked but they are willing to give me a new pack to try. It is what it is.

Bummer on the downtime, but hopefully (unfortunately) it's a quick fix! I wonder if they have a test bench to bolt down the blower and spin it up to speed after a rebuild to make sure things are sounding ok...

Shop foreman said it sounds like rotor timing, they quickly said they would rebuild the pack with new rotors and bearings. He even said it would be a much quicker turnaround than before, 4 days once they have it in their hands. He said no matter what they find they will not send me back the same parts to help me figure it out. They were very nice and prompt about helping me, never said its normal or blamed me for install issue. Stand up company.

I know the rest of the build is solid now so I wont be so worried about install. Ordered some new oil and we will see what happens.

Do you think your Tacoma could keep up with the Raptor? On the streets of Mexico of course.

I had 2 resonators going to my URD magnaflow muffler. Still had a small rasp that annoyed the hell out of me. So much so that I was heavily considering taking off the URD headers in lieu of the oem manifolds

I’d have to say no. My Tacoma was set up well however, the Raptor does pack a stronger punch.

I’m very curious what the new platform will offer in terms of aftermarket stuff for higher performance.

first cold start since Dec 8… the video is a bit long because I was waiting for the radiator fan to slow down and the SAIS fan to shut up
