Even on my old bikes that had carbs......I was lucky that they never needed anything. I just don't know anything about them.

Carb sync isnt too bad, but still a pain. Did my 4 throttle bodies on my 919 once and it took a bit, have done the the throttle bodies on my super tenere.

Till you go through a puddle and and get absolutely sprayed up your back... or rocks n shit hitting you etc. Unfortunately they are there because of the super short tail.

fine fine, pics should be up later tonight haha. yeah it's been just over 3 months

I didn't consider this at all when removing my XSR's rear fender. First ride in the rain with a new jacket, I must have hit an oil patch. The tire sprayed all over the back of my jacket, and to this day it's still stained from whatever. Have put it through the washer, used a few different brands spot treatment solutions, etc. nothing.

That was quite the annoyance at the time lol.

oof just over $2k in taxes and fees. if it were me I'd go used, just make sure they show paperwork for the break in oil change.

I won't pay over MSRP(with freight) b/c they're starting to sit on the floor. I'm not paying WuFlu prices when stock is sitting "on the shelf"

    haha noice!

yaaa its a bit stupid to me on price! so ill look at used and go that route and also ask about the break in oil. but idk about paperwork since most do it them selves. so ill get one and then go home and change the fluid lol
same man i paid over msrp on the red truck because of the low owners and how nice it was but it was also only a little bit over. but fully agree on the bikes part like i get freight but really wtf are all these other fees!

Lol maybe they'll have receipts, but probably not, considering peeps out there are regularly buying dirtbikes without titles lmao. Def would change fluids yourself if they didn't have any paperwork for it

Yeah idk if you or anyone else would do that out there. Out here some people who do their own work will retain receipts and will write down the mileage at which the work was done, or keep some sort of journal about it. Usually common with the older guys, kinda 50/50 for people under 40 lol.

haha ya no most just do an oil change and put a note on when it was done or know when its needing done again. some do take it to dealers but tbh its expensive at dealers/shops so why go? plus ive always prefered to do it my self. so rule of thumb for me when buying anything used it gets driven home and then oil change and filter change happens lol i never leave it how was when i got it.

MSRP has a built-in 4%-7% profit. These aren't necessities, they're starting to pile up in the showroom......I'm not getting bent over for something I don't have to have.

I know not what you're looking for, but this just popped up on FB, stupid cheap deal for someone that doesn't mind the fact it has 68,000! miles

Might be a Ural competitor. Cleveland Cyclewerks Hauler 400/500. The 400 has a single at 28ish HP while the 500 has a liquid-cooled twin with 48ish HP. The engines are apparently Honda clones

Wet sanded the lower fork legs with 600,1000, 2000 and a quick coat of polish. I need to spend a little more time on them but it’s currently 4C here. Playing with a bucket of water isn’t the brightest thing to do.
Mounted the front fender… think I like the colour
