I would have told the lady, "I didn't know where that street or the church was".
I wouldn't have told her there wasn't one.

"I don't know, sorry" is all she'd have gotten from me.

As for the homeless, sure we can get uncomfortable around them.
But I can't let it get in my way of everyday life.
Just have to walk/drive on by them and hope their situation gets better one day.

The guy who approached me in the Home Depot parking lot and started touching the water heater in the bed of my truck is apparently a well-known homeless drug addict named Bill whose been more or less homeless for about 25 years; I've lived in Warrington for about eight years, and that was my first time seeing him.

I've got a lead on a trailer and a giant trampoline now (more on that guy later). The trailer is intact, but trashed, and does not have a title. The scrapyard that I do business with will not take vehicles or trailers without a title. However, there is nothing about cutting it up a trailer and scrapping it in pieces, so the trailer will be cut up for me and I will load it into my truck!

Yeah. I’ve mostly avoided it because I’m inland enough.

And quite frankly the amount of rain we’re getting is a normal Tuesday for my east coast ass. So it’s whatever. Life goes on.

Yes and no. It’s good short term, but long term the rain brings vegetation growth. Which, when everything dries back up, brings even fiercer fires.

    Plus mudslides

I thought about this mower since you sent me that picture, starting to think l vaguely remember seeing them before. We had an oddball mower when l was young called a Flymo, it had no wheels and just hovered. Starting it was tricky as you had to hold it sideways and try to pull the cord.

It's not a mower, its a leaf Collection / Vacuum.
They are only good on flat well manicured yards.
Some places used them to suck up littler out of parking lots too.

    I wouldn't give you $50 for one.

They are one of those, "good ideas" on paper.
But don't work well in reality.

I knew it was a giant vacuum just by looking at it, but my dad thought it was a giant weed whacker...

We love to be nostalgic, but those old appliances are energy sucking hogs.
