Yep. Mine still looks brand new. One of best purchases for my truck.

Got tired of it filling with excessive mud/snow so swapped to an okx skid and it's far better at keeping mud out. Still collects through the logo cut out but substantially less.

I briefly had that OKX skid (before finding a used CBI). It was incredibly well made and very affordable. Shame that it wouldn't play nice with my rear CBI.

Was it the trans skid it wasn't mating up with? I did the engine and trans skid was a little dissapointes in the fitment where the skids overlap greenlane has a far better system for that transition.

CBI only has an IFS skid and a rear skid. Their rear skid is a combo of the mid and trans skid.

The CBI rear skid is contoured to marry up to the TRD pro skid. Additionally, the CBI IFS skid mates directly up to the frame cross member, where the OKX uses 3/8" spacers. I could have (was planning to) trim the OKX IFS skid to match the CBI contour, but would have had to live with the slight gap in the transition from CBI to OKX skids...

Ultimately I found a CBI IFS skid used on FB MP and installed that, as it plays nicely with the rear skid.

Ah I see it very similiar to the Greenlane. That method offers a smoother transition where as the okx just stack on each other

Here are the OKX and CBI side by side

Arguably, the OKX is a stronger/better design... so it was a compromise on my behalf.

Your situation makes complete sense to go the other route. But the more welds I see on other brands makes me appreciate the work on the okx more and more.

Side by side with the trd

Might aswell include one of the bumper pre install so the craftsmanship and thought that went into it can be seen.
