Off road and motorsport can void your warranty. And your car insurance won’t pay either. I thought this was common knowledge.

After watching the video and reading all the comments, I strongly believe (call me Einstein!) that this was a tire issue, combined with Roman switching the modes while the tires were spinning. I really think he did that. Neither the engine's power or torque were an issue. TFL should have upgraded those tires for snow and Ice, just like Andre did when he ordered his Colorado. His Colorado didn't win this trial. His tires did.

Alls I know is the Chevy driver had more patience and waaaay less throttle (short blips) input on his attempts before giving it a little momentum to conquer. Chevy did a nice job at continuation.

The Tacoma driver gave it full beans constant for too long in that one place, tires eventually gaining enough grip…snap.

“I’m going to try the same approach just nice and easy…(then says)as fast as possible.”

Dude needs to learn how to apply patience. Weak link in TFL.

Patience for what? He tried letting crawl control bring him up the hill and that didn’t work. He needed to hit it with some speed.

Listen Turd, he did it the “Nathan Way” and apparently that was patient enough :0)

And using crawl control in that situation is stupidity!

I’m watching these guys right now in their two gladiators and a canyon driving over absolutely ridiculous stuff and not breaking anything but Tacoma owners feelings. LOL

Then it should either over-ride the decision when you turn the dial, or push the button or whatever, and flash: "You can't do that stupid-o" in the center speedo display.

It's 2024 for crying out loud. This would never happen in a Mercedes or Beemer.

Hmm… clearly the 1st gen will continue to reign supreme!

Growing pains. I just had a new 24 in the shop with corodded wires for the grill shutter already. Shit happens. Warranties exist. As long as it’s not blatant someone broke something the dealer I’m at doesn’t really deny anything. and Toyota RARELY sends someone out to look into anything unless it’s a genuine “caused an accident” issue

Corroded wires on a truck that’s only a few weeks old? How’s that even possible?

Supplier issue. As far as I know there’s a stop sale on them right now. The weather seals… they don’t really weather seal lol. That truck slipped through. We weren’t suppose to have gotten it on the lot yet

IE they’re suppose to not leave port. It’s a simple fix. The part just doesn’t “exist”
