I was just under there checking the axel nuts for the new recall and noticed what looks like some kind of seepage. The truck is 6 months old with 10k miles stock. Idk if it’s just it breaking in or do I need to have a dealer look at it.

Common seeping. Wouldn't worry about it. Free corrosion protection. If it gets wet or forms a drip, dealer will repair.

Bring it up with your dealship and watch and monitor. More than likely just a seep. You could always put a piece of cardboard under it where you park to see if it gets worse.

I think that’s what I’ll do. Watch for obvious leaks and then bring it up at my next service

Check above it to see if anything is leaking on it . check the filler plug that it’s not loose .

Just point it out when you go in for your recall.

    Nothing to panic over.

    Monitor it.
I seems to be a seep, a poor seal job when they assembled the rear axle. It’s not from the initial fill.

Personally, I would spray it with brake clean, remove all that seep residue, and keep an eye on it.
