It was around $2700 and covers absolutely EVERYTHING for 7 years because I wont have 75k miles on it yet. Pricey, but compaired to a new unwarranted engine or tranny replacement I will come out way ahead if either of those fail.

Hopefully that won’t happen. Is it through Toyota ? Or a 3rd party

Only if you have shitty credit or dumb enough to go with stealership financing.

My bank offered me 6% back in January on 40k when I was contemplating financing.

Cancel the warranty and Google Jerry warranty on the 3G forum. His pricing on a 7/100 is like $1,250.

It may be more with the 4th gen. My wife's Lexus we got through him same as the Toyota was $400 more than my Tacoma and rightfully so given all the new tech (similar to the 4th gens). But ya hit up Jerry, have bought a few warranties through him.

So is Jerry. So this is where finance makes their money off you. Toyota has a set price on each warranty and then lets dealers charge whatever. So for instance I have a 6 yr / 125k platinum zero deductible I bought for $1040 (cost). When I bought my truck they tried to sell the same product for $6k. Which is pure profit for them after cost. Jerry gets his money by selling them at cost and volume instead of hosing individual customers at point of sale. You have 30 days to cancel for a full refund and then can buy with another dealer don’t have to go through yours that will sell at cost or negotiate with yours for a partial refund. Make sense?

Apparently I should have started a YouTube channel or something so I can drive my $800 a month Tacoma 2 days to get a spacer lift thrown on it. Maybe this is just the old dad in me but none of these decisions seem financial smart and it’s not like the real estate market or rental market is great right now. Clearly I’m doing something wrong here.

No TRDJon is headed to Westcott to get their collar lift which is pretty much a spacer lift.

That sounds worth it to hit the mall speed bumps. :D
I don’t get these guys that are so excited about buying the new gen truck that is supposed to be so great and then they immediately modify it. Why not drive it around for awhile stock?

I'm going to wrap my 3gen in underground color.. Will feel like a new truck.. :)

I see the MAX powertrain not available yet to build on Toyota.com? This is the reason I might upgrade and would test drive before I decide paying these prices.

    NOT SHOWING? Optional Engine
    • Hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain
    • 326 hp
    • 465 lb.-ft of torque at just 1700 rpm
    • 8-speed automatic transmission

He traded his 2022 Tundra SR5 OR for a Platinum real quick, he's either writing off all the losses constantly trading, or something. Still baffled at 8.75% $44,000 financed.

Even more mind boggling when you factor in trading that Pro Tacoma on it too.

Maybe we all need to start YouTube channels just to claim losses and help our tax situation from our real jobs. Anyone here an account and know how this stuff works? My account is too old to even know what YouTube is.
