A couple of years ago my trash service went from $95 to $146. (quarterly).

So I called. I 'fuck this and fuck thatted' three or four times, the gal said they could reduce it to $100. I told her that the other trash service was $100 and since I thought they were being rather shitty by attempting to raise my rates by 50 bucks that they could plant two lips (or tulips ) right there on my sweet ass. She said, "how does 80 bucks sound?"
I sez that sounds purdy good to me.

This! Every year they try to raise mine. I say I'll cancel then. They transfer me to someone else who tries to make a deal. I say I'll only stay on if I keep my original promotional fee I've paid for years. They say okay. Done. Takes 15 minutes. I pay under 100 for a year subscription and always have.

 

Wait... @StayinStock 80 a year not a quarter right? I pay under 100 per year but have been a subscriber since day one after Howard Stern went to Sirius like 10 years ago.

Didn't have to claim poor, simply said, that's not what I paid last year. Came way down $107.88 plus taxes.
