There's an old interceptor with the paint job in great condition that roams about around here, looks 100% a cop car till you get alongside it and it just says 'GOTCHA'. It's fooled me a few times.

 

On the interceptor Ford Explorers you can tell if it's law enforcement by the lack of roof rack/rails. Well, now there's tons of civilian Explorer's without the rack/rails

 

Growing up as a teen the police had Ford LTDs you could spot them a mile away.

The other question I get now that drives me nuts at the Dr office is what gender do you go by..... You went to medical school.... Right. It hasn't changed in 67 years and I don't think it will.

 

Also something about the black and white paint job you could spot way off. Here its the grey cruiser parked on side road that grabs your attention

 

My buddy at powdercoat bought this trailer from my dad about 5 years ago. He told me a few weeks ago the tax value on it was $650 and he'd take that for it. I don't need it but told him it was worth more than that and he should take it to the consignment auction coming up in a couple weeks. He said you take it and I'll give you 25% of what it brings. I said deal.


I picked it up Friday and listed it on marketplace. I figured I had a week to sell it and if I didn't, I would take it to the sale next week. Dude bought it yesterday for $2,400.

I took him his money a few minutes ago and ask him what he gave my dad for it, he said...........$1,200

 

Back then it was black and white. Then blue and white, solid blue, solid white. Now we have solid black with white letters along with 2 all grey unmarked. The only give away is the spotlight.and police license plate.

 

I'd like to be able to tell them the same thing...

"Yeah, due to your recent rate increase I dont feel as tho I want to give you my monies."



*I'll try to tone it down, I dont have a good....warm and fuzzy about insurance companies. Although, after having water damage to our home last year, our insurance company was amazing. I'm still wondering why.....

Here the Dr is more likely to try to convince you to change sides! I haven't been within sniper range of one in a few decades, I'd probably be "detained" (they are careful to say "not arrested"), under the mental health act . Based on what you guys have said, It would be amusing to play the question and answer game though. I'm at the dentist in Costa Rica now, they only ask me about my teeth and my vacation.

 

It’s unethical for a Dr to make a referral without your knowledge or consent.


The Dr office gave another entity your personally identifiable information (PII) [name, address and phone] and protected health information (PHI) [symptoms related to the referral]. Both of which fall under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( HIPAA). You may have signed something allowing such disclosure but in any case, you should have known about it.

I’d loop back around to the Dr Office to ask how they felt they were authorized to make this referral and when/how you gave your permission to release this information.

 

I would think its because all of the people on the road coming up behind you, at you head on and coming at your side are texting or putting on makeup or eating a hot dog, and they have not had training.

Maybe I live under a rock, which is fine with me, but I tried to buy a very pacific version of Sudafed yesterday and they needed to scan my license to buy it. And when I bought the wrong one, I couldn't buy more after I returned the first one. Had to go get my wife's license to buy her the right one. Guy was like you've never seen breaking bad? Must've missed that one.

Also regarding HIPAA, we have a stipulation in our contract that says we get $250/calendar year for prescription glasses, and since what our script is is protected medical information, we get Ansi 87.1 shatterproof sunglasses, thank you very much. About to order my new pair here directly...
