They wanted $4500 OTD.

 

MSRP is listed at $3271 with freight/shipping on Honda's site. My local dealer wanted to add on $1300 worth of bullshit.

 

ah ya i could see that being annoying... ive seen a few used ones for about msrp so might just do that haha

 

I found a place right outside of Chattanooga that quoted me a price of $3271 minus tax/tag. Southern Honda Powersports. If I ever buy a new Honda, I'll ride 4hrs to buy from them and just camp that weekend.

Yeah I have had to deal with oxidation too living and doing lots of riding along the coast here around malibu. I had to repaint the triple clamps (and other random parts) on my 919 twice due to oxidation from the salt air.


BTW. That bike is BEAUTIFUL. What a great color combo, small gold accents, really set the silver/black/grey off!

ya that is true.. kinda silly for me thou for the cbr500r the one dealer that only has you pay for the shipping fee is like 15mins from me? but the dealer i was wanting to do business with and has the red one i want wants 8540 otd.. and they are farther lol

 

Average prices for a sub 300 mile one is around 3500-4k here on FB marketplace. I'd bet I could get one for $3500 in the end.

 

I at least have an old roommate in Chattanooga. It's easy enough to make a weekend trip out of it and get in some camping

 

Damn it fb marketplace has me wanting bikes I don't need.

yeah! won one of their old back of the container projects.. I didnt do anything with it though. Kinda wish I still had it, but it was a big paperweight in my tiny garage
