Tires ordered! Went with SunF warriors over the Maxxis zilla. They’re clones but actually seem to have a better 6ply sidewall from what I could gather information on. Plus waaaaay cheaper

anyone know anything about balance beads? Dude i bought tires from had them installed. They make a loud noise when riding down road and are out of balance at 65 plus. Im pretty sure im going to take them out.

Feel like they were installed wrong, sounds like something is contacting wheel when going down road but i know its not.

I would think you just throw the balls in the tire and done. I thought the purpose for them was to hit the "low" spot once they started to rotate, evening out the balance.

I just looked and the amount depends on size and type of tire for the amount calculated. Might be better just having weights instead. :notsure:

Horrible vibrations at 65 plus and loud noise from tire from start to stop. Something not right. I just got an alignment and its still messed up.

only thing is they are 17's and the tundra min size is 17 and the cliper is damn close to the wheel so your limited as to where you can stick the weights. I have same issue on my Tacoma since i have 16's on it.

I had balancing beads in my Z28 when I lived in Cali. They were low maintenance and rode smooth to me. They are supposed to be self balancing, but don’t know enough about it to offer a solution.
