What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

Two dismembered Emerson air-conditioners, a refrigerator compressor, and a Whirlpool dishwasher ready for their ride to appliance heaven...

 

I scrapped the Hotpoint fridge, and an old bed frame that Gwyn gave me, this morning; I also got my hands on a trike that someone was throwing out...

 

GE electric range, loaded up and ready to go to appliance heaven!

 

I spun it around so the handlebar wouldn't take out my back window...

These garage door pieces were at the same place as the Billy Goat; I'd been eyeing it for days, but wasn't sure if I was allowed to take it. Yesterday, there was a truck belonging to an exterminator parked outside the building; I called the number on the truck and got ahold of the guy. He said that he rented the building from another guy and said that I was free to take it because it was being thrown out. The property owner showed up while I was loading the Tacoma and confirmed that everything was mine, including the Billy Goat...

 

First load...

 

When I went back for the second load of garage door panels, I had already loaded the truck when an employee of the aforementioned landscaper/exterminator showed up. I believed I was going to have to make two more trips, but he let me use his sawzall to "downsize" the panels; I got everything in one trip...

 

This morning's load...

 

I had a Billy Goat brush mower once.
I would work you to death. It cut brush pretty well.
But it lacked power steering and a locking differential.
I sold it after one season of use........

 

Those weight plates would be better off being sold on Craigslist, you got some cash there

 

My half hungover ass saw those this morning and thought they were torque converters. I agree weight plates are worth something.

 

In general probably close to 75 cents/dollar a pound. Someone will always want them. I bought some of mine off Craigslist and it was a fight to get there first.

 

I got everything into the truck in one trip!

 

Almost left this behind...

 

After dropping off that first big load, I picked up this stove. The oven worked, but the cooktop obviously did not. The house it came out of is not a mansion, but it is still big enough to have two kitchens. The stove was damaged when the current owner bought the house, and he wanted to put in a propane stove, so he just let me have this one for free...

 

This is one of the nicer ranges I've scrapped; not only a self-cleaning oven, but convection as well, and the oven still worked!
