I'm about 5'10" as well. I'm looking at different cage designs. I wont be running a rear window, and some of the cage can push out the back of the cab.

 

Yeah putting the b pillar outside of the cab will make a lot more room.

 

So I made my cage WRL/WEC spec, and you can see how tight this gets. They require door bars without bends as of June '23...

Ya, either dudes are just skinning a cage, or their heads are way to close in these trucks

 

If you end up getting a 2rz/3rz truck, I will buy the motor/harness/ecu if you decide to go 5vze.

 

I will get in touch with you as soon as I have one in hand. Because a 4 cyl will be a LOT easier to find and I am 100% going with a 5vzfe... I already have one on an engine stand in my garage.

 

Had some set backs over the weekend. But things are slowly getting back to normal.

Things slowed down a bit on this project when I went in the hospital.

Then we lost our boy... 15 good years.




Now I'm starting to get back going, gaining stamina back, getting caught back up on work (missed 3 weeks with the Gall Bladder drama).

The bender project has been completed.



Started a project to test out the bender and practice the notching skills.



I'll get things back on track for some excitement soon... or... I'll start wheeling every weekend and put this off till winter lmao... that sounds better.
