I bet he's gonna have $25K or more in the Transalp he's doing. He spent $3600 on suspension alone. He seems to be putting top dollar stuff on that particular bike.

I just ordered some knockoff doubletake mirrors from Amazon.

 

I did try to buy myself a bday gift.....sold within a few hours of listing She didn't even return my message. A Karate Kid Johnny Lawrence bike would have been cool as hell

 

honestly I would put my money on the GS over the tacoma

the side view of the new GS1300. I think from the side it looks pretty good. Once you go to a 3/4 and see the engine, looks start going downhill IMO.

I love it! I got to go out for a ride all afternoon with my wife yesterday too. She’s completed the MSF course, a couple days on gravel, and about an hour two weeks ago on pavement, so today was a big step for her and she absolutely crushed it! We had a blast ripping around town and just hanging out enjoying the weather. And of course I dropped the ball at taking pictures coz I was enjoying things too much.

 

I thought she got a MT07 or 09? Where'd the XT250 come from?????

 

She did get the MT09! Then once we took the class, I talked her into getting the XT too so we could ride together more.

And now she works in sales at that dealership.

Thoughts on cameras.. helmet cam, chin mount, or something like a 360 camera on a stick?

I would say 360 cam so you can get all angles. vs just where you're looking.
