What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

Off to appliance heaven...

 

And then I stopped at my friend Helen's house to pick up an aluminum gate she was giving me for scrap...

 

Another day, another discarded stove being sent to appliance heaven...

 

I assumed up until the moment I picked it up that this Kenmore electric range had something wrong with it. The woman who gave me the stove said that it worked fine, and unfortunately Facebook went down before I could ask why she replaced it (more on that later). The stove came out of a relatively small townhouse, and she tried for like two weeks to give it away, but nobody wanted it. With space at a premium in her home, I imagine that influenced her decision to give it up for scrap; I highly doubt it would have functioned property after sitting in the rain, anyway...

Getting appliances and other stuff to scrap is one of the few things that Facebook is still good for. While I was messaging with the woman I got the Kenmore range from, FB messenger just logged me out at random for no reason, and I couldn't back in. The actually Facebook app was online for a few minutes afterward, but it soon kicked me off too; @Stitchgirl90 thought that maybe my account was hacked, but I have been on FB since early 2008 and amazingly that's never happened.

I have the phone number of the guy I got the central A/C unit from, and I texted him to see if got kicked off Facebook. He is having the exact same problem. I also talked to a woman from an adjacent neighborhood who owns one of Porter's playmates, and she's having the same problem...

 

Logged me out too.
And I am waiting to hear back about a mower. Still can’t get in.

Maybe it’s a sign that I just need ti buy new. And not a used one on Facebook

DoorDash was working fine. Turns out they randomly decided that I needed to provide a mugshot in order to prove it was my account, I couldn't even schedule a Dash, and the app was responding so slowly that I thought it was malfunctioning...

 

I found a lawnmower curbside with someone's trash this morning...

 

I don't know how you even make gas money with that stuff.
here they expect you to bring coffee and doughnuts and then pay them.
I bought an M-416 trailer and it came with an industrial air compressor with
gas engine and all the works and all they want to give me is $20 for it. I need
to get rid of to clean up the trailer. I envy you.

 

The air-conditioner that I already scrapped and the furnace that I'm picking up on Friday will cover gas and then some...

 

I found three wheels in the woods behind NAVMAR (where I got laid off from in October). Unfortunately, the scrapyard won't take them with the tires...

I talked about that with my friend who's got a sawzall, and he doesn't think it will work...
