    Sheer speculation on my part.

(Or maybe a free TRD lift, snow tires, and a couple of buttons to put in the blanks..)

Interesting, just saw that now. Tacoma4G admin mentioned he contacted TFL and the entire front driveline was said to be removed and sent to Toyota. This would indicate to me there wasn't anything obvious, otherwise they'd send back one part. Did TFL post anything specific?

Re: switch blanks on a $50,000+ plus vehicle (not including tax, title and delivery :D): Exactly!! I thought I was just missing something or maybe it was just me... I noted this in the interior pics of the '24's posted here and wondered what remained optional on there that isn't included in the high-roller packages?? Sure: maybe a sunroof switch or some other obscure item, but if I had one of these it would bug the crap out of me every time I got in and saw it. Just like unheated outside mirrors, non-illuminated 4x4, power mirror, and illuminated power window (all with auto-down) switches and auto-dim mirror on my 2nd gen. These features have been standard most on cars since the '80s. Rediculous. My Buick had an auto-dim inside -and-drivers outside review mirror.

(Did I mention I hate dash switch blanks?) :annoyed:

Sorry pal, 3rd Gens are a bit old. They even look all rounded and bubbly. Ever hear of something called a "BETA" tester? Didn't think so! Only a total idiot would take their new model year offroad in the deep winter snow and rocks like that (aka: abusive driver error). You're supposed to take it easy and work the bugs out, FIRST!

I'm from the "import tuner car" generation....
So, the sound of spinning tires+boost whistle=bang doesn't surprise me one bit. Just like the good ol days!

What does surprise me is that a new Tacoma would be about as poorly sorted as some of the Frankenstein tuner cars of the past.

Other than 50% of the posts being completely irrelevant. This thread is pretty important.

Isn’t Toyota supposed to do the testing and work out the bugs before they sell the vehicles. They’ve had about 10 years to develop this truck.

I'm straight up admitting I didn't read/search entire thread. What I'm asking is did TFL take down the upload of them breaking the 2024 Tacoma? I saw it when it was first posted but now I can't find it. TIA

Yeah they have a bunch of different sub-channels now, I figured that's what happened. I watch several of their channels and often lose track

Here you go. The Pro trim, which traditionally shouldn't have blanks... still has blanks.

So basically three AUX switches, a sway bar disco, a trailer backer upper for dumdums, and a trunk opener.

I take it back - it isnt the TFL guys that are unskilled. NO ONE can possibly off-road with any skill in the 4th gen. They are all too busy looking down at their button array like a toddler trying to find G-sharp on a concert grand piano.
