Finally put some marine carpet down on my bed platform today and got some compliments at the apartment while working. Happy with the results

I did this upgrade. It is much better. I still want leds, but this will keep me happy until I can do leds right, with a led light housing.

    Thank you for your honesty.

I did the OEM LED upgrade after-the-fact.

It could have been a $480 upgrade before I signed off on my purchase...but I'm happy I was able to do the install myself almost 2 years ago.

    L-$664.92
    R-$661.00
    H-$85
    Total $1410.92

Thanks to Sparks Toyota & Dave Easa.

Parked awkwardly next to another 3rd Gen Barcelona Bro. Giving my truck the false hope of a growth mindset. Oh, and voted!

$1410.97 is a big bill to choke down. I just ordered a $3800 camper shell for mine and I’m coming up on my second payment on my little Taco. The new lights will be a little down the road for me. I’ve done led bulbs in halogen fixtures. They looked better than the halogen bulbs, but not what I really wanted. The only way to get that would be to replace the led fixture to replace the halogen one.

It all depends on our priorities.

I'm not a camper shell guy...I'm more a DB tonneau cover kinda guy.

We all pursue different upgrades to our trucks.

What I avoid is displaying my opinion on this board in a way that denotes one upgrade as adamently wrong or unworthy.

It's a one-sided opinion that is expressed and just is unnecessary in my opinion.

It happens a lot on TW but I tend to ignore it...even though this is a rare observational opinion expressed.

This one. I think I have it working correctly. Haven't really had a chance to see if will work consistently yet.

Added my BulletPoint hand-held radio mount on the Taco Bar. Holds the Cobra very securely…
