Anyone else feeling better about their 3rd gen.

I want the real thing or nothing at all.

 

I like the plumbed sound in the high end tundras V6's sound terrible. Fight me.

 

I rode in a focus ST. They pump engine noises in little tweeters on the dash. Sad…

 

My kid will make rad vrooming noises on demand so that fun… well most of the time.

 

They pump the sound into Ford Raptors too, because when the engine blows and you have to sit on the side of the trail pretending

 

V6 raptors sound like off balance washing machines to me.

Im an avid sim racer and have been for years. I operate a popular iRacing league and I’ve competed in championships run by orgs like Operation Motorsport, Recaro (won that one), and the PCA. I even own a Pro Sim/Quaife sim shifter.

All that is to say, even with that resume and gear, a simulated system will never replace a real car.

 

Cool! Those rally car simulators look fun. But yeah nothing beats the real thing.

 

No sir, no he does not.
They did a cool thing and put electronic baffles on it, so you can have actual V8 noises or have a 1/2 way moderate sounding exhaust with a touch of a button in the cab.
I have to admit, beyond my fear of all the issues it could possibly have, FCA put some cool features into that 392.
Bloody thing came with 35s from the factory too!

 

I cannot deny the sound of that 392, especially under acceleration.
It was a PITA to keep up but I was in fact very sad after I sold "Belle".
She (literally, no joke) caused at least one accident from gawkers in traffic just listening to that lumbering cam......

That's for sure, but I've been on nights for so long at this point that it's all I know

 

No regrets. I bought mine in the summer because of the '24s coming out.
