    You were able to sleep in a big floating city surrounded by countless support ships and planes, cuddled in your nice safe comfy bunk, with warm showers, three hot meals a day plus all the snacks at the ship store. Plus every 30 days you got to go to some port and have the time of your life.

    I slept in a tent in the middle of the nowhere desert, eating MRE's, only having cold water, hoping that an RPG doesnt hit my tent. An we couldnt go nowhere. We are not the same.

    Actually the only time I was on a boat was for qualifications. Other than that, my unit was running around South and Central America taking care of cocaine labs and such.

    So there's that.....:notsure:

    And I happened to be on the USS Enterprise when it was in seas coming over the bow, which is quite a statement on an aircraft carrier. Ask all the sailors that were sea sick as motherfuckers how cozy their racks were in that. Easy there billy badass.

    Join the Navy, see the world. Exactly why I didn't choose Army or Air Force since they fly from point A to point B without seeing the sites in between.

    Also, mission dictates lifestyle. Don't fault us and our living conditions when our mission is to drive, operate, and live on the ships people like you depend on.
