Any one have any idea on how to troubleshoot this:

    2022 Tacoma off-road.

Sensors upload to the app on my phone, but don’t display on the dash…

I’ve tried resetting. Sometimes they display on the dash, maybe once a week. No warnings on the dash about them not working.

    these are my winter tires

You state you are using your winter tires. Are the winter tires mounted on your regular rims or do you have two sets of rims with different sensors in each set? Just trying to understand your setup to help troubleshoot.

I’ve had no problems with my dash readings for years until about a month ago. I went to get an oil change, dealership, rotated, tires, and I could not get the tires to read on center of dash even after trying the reset button. Stopped back by the dealer the following week they took it back and the technician had to somehow recalibrate the sensors and said they lost their way? It took about 10 minutes. I’m thinking that they are seven years old and may need new batteries. I’d expect that this is going to happen to me again eventually.

They are separate winter tires and wheels. The stock sensors are in the original wheels which are stored in the garage that I don’t park in. I park outside in the driveway at least 50 feet away.

I’ve tried repairing them to the car with my nifty tire sensor programming gadget that I bought when I just thought they were not paired but they must be paired or they are sending to the app.

Just odd that the sensors are communicating with the app but not the dash…

Won't show on the dash until the system is able to locate where each is. If it can't auto locate it won't display, but it will still be reading the pressures fine. You can bypass the need to auto locate via the reset button by programming the sensors into their location with techstream.

Have you driven freeway speeds for at least 20 minutes since putting the winter rims on?

You have single frequency sensors in the winters, the app reads off the TPMS data but for read out on the dash you'll need new sensors with dual frequency.

    I'd leave it.

Yeah, I’ve driven down the highway with the winter tires on for month’s.

I did program where they were but maybe I didn’t do it properly. But it seems to know where they are on the app?

    I’ll try resetting them again.

    Thanks Bishop!

    So interesting. I’ll leave it!

We get some extreme temperature fluctuations (like 50 degrees within a week) so it’s nice to know that I can check them in the app and the app gives a warning if they are low
