I like to drive and always thought my retirement job would be as a delivery guy for an auto parts store…

Sitting on a console, stretching with my arms and legs for an entire mail route sounds like torture to me.

Kinda cluttered, so hard to get pics of the one inside. The top was at least 6" thick, and the legs...

 

natural edge tables are nice to look at but I feel odd sitting at them

I asked about the one inside, it is $6,400. Actually, I didn't think that was too bad.

Next time we walk past I'll ask about shipping.

The stick looked like a saw cut to me showing a wood surface under a gray textured coating.

 

Imagine the delivery guys -- "we want that on the second floor".

 

When you make a live edge table, in my opinion, the edges need to be sorta parallel to each other to have a natural feel while you sit there eating. Too much variation and it is not comfortable to look at the person next to you.
The one I just built has 2" over 84" delta. Got some little wiggles though.

That changed in a hurry

 

Appear the post office left a package for me today in the parcel locker. However, the key they left doesn't fit in any of the boxes. Called them, 40 minute wait time, so drove over in person. Postal lady says they'll have to send a supervisor out tomorrow to get the item for me.

What's the rules on drilling the lock?

 

Myself, I’d just go ahead but prepost bail first.
