To some it's overpriced, to others it's not that crazy considering the current economics. The OP posting is crazy

Can you open the gas cap and take pics and give insights? Wanting to see if it’s as chintzy as the third gen or whether we’ll need to figure out a hack to install a third gen door gas door into a fourth gen. Because I’m not looking for improvements.

This was last Sunday, alarm thingy on the window, right in front of the showroom, with cameras everywhere. I looked inside, pretty nice layout. I only go to dealerships on Sunday, for obvious reasons

Why did they go to the crappy little rear sliding window like the Ranger has? That is garbage!

Too bad he only loses dual zone climate control, power seat, power rear slider and 12 gallons of gas in buying the new truck you priced.

But all is not lost as you can drop another $8,940 on the premium package to get back those functions.

Not really. Some of us value power, torque, suspension, shocks, drive ability, LED headlights, bigger tires, better brakes, etc.

Some of us value a power seat.

To pretend that the 3g has everything the 4g has and the changes are a loss of power seat and rear window is misleading as hell

And ignore the suspension, brakes, tech and safety features, I think you meant 3 gallons of gas, and updated interior and exterior.

$4600 will get you everything else except the dual temp and adds in JBL audio. I do wish power seats were in the base off road package tho.

If salary in your area has kept pace with inflation new car pricing doesn't seem that crazy IMO.

Wishful thinking it would roll all the way down like the tundra/4runner.

My buddy priced out a Sport from a dealer which I imagine is similar to the Offroad as it has been in the past and it was $48k

Valuing the dollar nominally feels cool but ignores reality

for the same actual value, you get a lot more of some things in the 4g and lose a few things.
