    Yes in the past it did for years until it stopped working and then had second meniscus surgery. That lasted for 4 years all good til now arthritis coming back. Trying to delay with monovisc but yes it helps.

    You guys gotta stop talking about all this knee replacement and repair stuff. I have a rebuilt shoulder that I’d rather not think about having to do again in the future

    I go into AGH tomorrow morning for my MRI on my knees. Doc already told me my meniscus' are damaged so I'm not looking forward to shots or short term surgeries that'll just buy alittle time.

    Not too far from my wife's old 2005 with regular wheels.

    Mine has a 14 Rav with basic tires. I can pull close to 30 city even without using eco mode. Can't bitch about that for an SUV

    I remember the old CRX, sporty looking kinda thing that some said could get 40s.

    Ouch, hope you had the back seat all to yourself.

    Did those have the 3 barrel carb yet?

    I remember seeing an early 70s one on Shipping Wars.

    Velcro works better, my joke with my brother in law was he should just do that since he had so many knee surgeries. He now has 2 full replacements and still works a physical job and goes golfing often.

    Fuel mileage hmmm, best I can recall in terms of the sheer number was the 2019 or 2020 Chevy Malibu I had as a rental for a few weeks in April/May 2021. Normal driving without goosing it I could hit close to 40 city, highway mid 40s..it wasn't a slow vehicle necessarily either. Not a GM person but I could see that fitting the bill for some.

    So… not for the reasons you gents get them… but 1 shot of cortisone sent me to a new ortho. 2016, I got my first round of Orthovisc, lasted 6 months, early 2017 I went and got Synvisc this lasted roughly till March of 2018, doc gave me “Euflexa” (not sure on the spelling there, but it was spelled “cortisone” according to my insurance… yay Obama care). Top tier lube, knock on wood… 2024 and I haven’t been back.

    My knee cap floats, and as such.. I’ve got “a floating cheese grater” for a knee cap. Similar surgery to fix it, zipper cut, pull out knee cap, grind down the stabby bits off the back of my knee cap, put back in, pin all tendons/ligaments/ back to where they belong…zip back up.

    eflexa = good lube.

    Good morning PA. I have to take my daughter for a doctor's appointment at West Penn this afternoon. Haven't been to Bloomfield in some years. Back in the day we used to go to Tessaro's.

    I have stock wheels just good tires. It’s my daily and AWD so I wanted better than a P rated radial. It goes to camp and rips around in the snow.

    Not sure about the engine in that old Honda. I’ll have to ask Bob next time I talk to him. He’s an old Honda dealer. And super knowledgeable about the power sports side of the company. Probably the auto side also.

    Not lube but my surgeon gave me some kind of shot at the end of PT to loosen things in my shoulder. Helped a lot with range of motion. I crashed my trials bike in the fall of 2019 and tore it up pretty bad. Out of socket, broken socket, tore all the goodies around it, frayed bicep tendon. 5 1/2 hours of surgery and about 5 months of PT. I’d say I’m about 95% of what I was. I do all the same things I used to and it’s good so far. I’d imagine in time I’ll have to get it worked on again. But hopefully not anytime soon.
