Yeah Bamf and c4 make great stuff. Seems like they rarely have quality issues compared to other shops too.

Just sucks that the lead time is so long, 4 months. Feel like a little kid in October counting the days until Christmas.

Those look pretty badass. I have a set of KCs that wouldn't fit where I wanted em, just taking up space on my shelf now :(

@AllTacosFloat what fridge do you have? I'm looking at getting a dual zone. Dometic/ARB and Iceco the smallest dual zones are like 60+QT which just seems like a lot of hassle to deal with.

Future proofing I'm looking for something that can go into the bed, maybe 35-45QT? But I have no idea.

I’d recommend a dual zone over the single like I have. Usually when I need both I use this as a freezer and pack a cooler,, neither is usually very full.

Hey @super_white or @tacobell007. Allegedly you set the motor at TDC then set it either 45 degrees after TDC or 45 degrees before TDC. Do you know which it is for a 2007 Tundra 4.7 (it has VVT).

It seems different 4.7's have all different specs for that

When you do the belt? You set it at TDC by the mark on the crank, check the cam marks and don’t move it.

Then when you have it assembled, check the marks, turn the crankshaft twice and double check the marks.

Cheers thanks. I want a dual zone but I want to be able to fit it in the bed under the tonneau more. I was looking at some of the higher cost ARBs that might do better in the bed, none of the ones that can fit under the tonneau (I think I have about 18" to play with, I'll have to measure again) have dual zone. Plus in the bed it will have to contend with potential rain and dust, too, when the tonneau isn't on.

So I kind of want to prioritize size and handling the elements. If I can find a dual zone in that, yippee!

100W panel is already in the mail. Eclipse trip it will probably be in the cab since I don't think I'll be able to run power to the bed yet by then.

if going in the bed, remember that you will probably loose some space mounting it. My fridge slide looses like an inch… just something to keep in mind

Are any fridges actually IP54 or greater? I thought them in the elements was really a no go

Yeah, I am planning right now to drop a sheet of ply back there with a buttload of T nuts and D rings as tie down points so I can strap down coolers, fridges, gas cans, etc etc wherever I want to, instead of shuffling it in the bed with a cargo bar and being constrained to what Toyota says goes. I will probably put it at the rear of the bed so I don't think I will put a slide in with it. But we'll see what space allows.

^^^ that's why. They also have a full list of spares so you can replace everything on the entire fridge. Along with a 50 page warranty/repair manual.

And now that I look, only the Elements fridge is rated for rain (nothing about dust, just says to blow out the compressor section if it gets dusty).

    https://store.arbusa.com/63-quart-elements-fridge-freezer-10810602/

It's 1650, BUT it's only 17.1" tall, so it would fit in the bed under the tonneau!
