Torque = Force X <length of application arm>

MFing-Torque = Force X 3-ft-of-application-arm

I had to cut out and splice in a new section of hardline for my rear brakes years ago. Ended up needing the last like 4" (flared end and nut just like in your photo). I used a compression fitting to splice in a new flared end onto the line and haven't had a single issue with it. Just in case you do end up needing to cut/replace..

 

I have heard it is a thing ... somewhere ... but there is water falling from the sky in Phoenix! Really?!

 

Just started snowing up here..... And I need to go meet the city in a field to measure for a few jobs.

 

I figured I might drive to Strawberry. First because I have never been. Second because in the 3 years since I moved here I have not seen a single snowflake (aside from me!). Not many opportunities left this year.

Yes That! Brewery for sure. Old County Inn Pizza very solid too, and not really much to stop at in Strawberry, more in Pine.

Pizza, yes. I am not in the habit of imbibing, so probably would be a road hazard. I could do with some Canadian Bacon and Pineapple on a pizza.
