I have yet to do this. Been almost a year since I bought the switch. Not sure I will need the relay, I hope not. I already have numerous add-a-fuses in my in cabin fuse box (heated seats, 2 LED light bars, aux back up lights, usb ports, maybe a couple more I can't think of). Not sure I can fit another add-a-fuse.

 

I have been slacking this past year as well...I too used to ride the reservoir when I was up in Manchester. Did case mountain a bunch; also Gay city. Trumbull and the quarry is tough. I try to go up to Loon mountain a few times a year in the summer to hit their downhill trails. SOOOOOOO much fun. Other than that I just burn throught the trails here in Shelton. Easy enough (some rather tech stuff) but its a good 45-60 min ride after work and you can make it as fat or as long as you want which is nice.

 

I too enjoy winter camping, but i think our interpretations might be a little different.
I like to camp by a stone fireplace that's basking me at about 1,000F while I enjoy a warm beverage & look out a very large window at all the silly people outside getting sopped & having fun in the snow. That's winter camping in my book - LOL.
although, I can be tempted outdoors by a snowmobile.

I reckon we need to have a taco meet up this summer with some bikes! I can't believe my bike is 12 years old now. I bought it as a present to myself after finishing up college. Time is stupid.

I've done "true" winter camping once where I just slept on a frozen river in WA after a 4 mile snowshoe into the back country, and also with a hot tent where I would just car camp in the snow. I will say I prefer the latter. I wash hoping for this winter to do a snowshoe in to the forest in Vermont with my sled behind me and do some hot tent action, but it didnt happen. Luckily April and May are still good candidates for using the hot tent. We need to "break in" the new dog for camping, hopefully she takes to it like our last rockstar of a pug did *see him in the photo of my bike*. Missing that guy! 1 year on 11Mar he left us

This is gonna be a shitty fucking day...

Kids are finally allowed back to school after having Covid, but youngest woke up throwing up.

Add to that a 2 hour delay that we were just notified about, due to a bomb threat to the schools, board of ed, and some school official's homes.

WTF

 

And now they canceled school, and closed town hall for the day.

The email said that after consulting with police, they need more than 2 hours to do a thorough sweep of the buildings, and are canceling school out of an abundance of caution. Which makes perfect sense.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is some bs "prank" by high school kids. I think yesterday and today they must have tests or something going on because I saw the high school bus roll by super early yesterday. Wouldn't doubt one of them called and did it.

Hey Y'all its been a while. I hope everyone is good. I will be trading the truck in this coming weekend!! Getting closer down to the ground in a nice 2021 Lexus IS350 F sport. I'm seeing if anyone is interested in the Wet Okele seat covers currently in the truck (2010 TRD sport 4dr shortbed) Fronts are 2 tone with Custom TRD logo and butt/back heaters with adjustable lumbar too. Back seat are 2 tone no heat or lumbar and a 60/40 split with headrest too. (Not in pic) These are neoprene seat covers with about 2 years on them, so the neoprene smell is long gone. There are no stains or tears. They are very easy to clean with the included solution from Wet Okele. Original price was $672 during a group buy on here. Wet okele keeps your design stored with the order # on file so they can always be accessed for design information and confirmation if you ever need repairs or anything like that. Anyone interested for $450 OBO let me know. They dont have to be gone this weekend. Just soon enough so the wife doesn't freak out, old stuff for truck... new stuff for Lexus lol.
