I'm running a B&M 70268 platecooler. I tow a 3,500lb trailer over +8,000ft passes on pavement and off road and rarely see temps at the torque converter above 200 and haven't been over 215 since installed. My truck is on stock gearing with 33s and it has a bunch of extra weight (GFC, skid trilogy, bolt on sliders with fill plates, winch, height clearance rear with a swingout and two spares in addition to camping gear).

I run the aux cooler inline with the little factory cooler, FWIW.

Do you have the stock one? It is kinda half behind the bumper. You could make two brackets to space it higher so it gets direct air flow all across. I’m sure that would make a difference.

My truck didn't come with the tow package so I have nothing besides the routing through the radiator

Is the Hayden cooler decent? It's awfully cheaper then the mishimoto $300 Tacoma trans cooler

    Lots of people them.

I picked up a derale w/ a fan setup in pusher I believe. I prob should have got one step larger but for now it works. The fan is great as well. When it started to heat up it keeps it cool when I stop. Inline temp sensor at 180 or 190 if I recall.

Yeah after reading reviews and real world results the Hayden cooler seems to be legit. I think I'm just going to grab that kit Gio linked above so it's a straight forward install ready to go. Plus I support a forum members most of the parts I can grab to do that I usually do. Homertaco, archive garage etc

I should have snagged more photos but may actually have a rolling truck again by next week. Maybe. Just maybe. That axle is pure beef! But I may be more excited for the TC How steering kit from JD fab. Oh yah and see what this fuel pump business is they @12TRDTacoma keeps hounding me about.

I'm looking at where the intercooler is. I don't know if that bracket is going to Work for the trans cooler

Were you able to try to order one with a valid shipping address? I contacted them about buying 10 or more, they didn't tell me they didn't have the stock, but they did tell me they won't ship to US, even on a special request with special shipping costs. They said they'd be happy to supply an order to the countries they serve...

I don't think my google-fu is as strong as some of you guys.... but can the Gates K050705RPM be found in Asia? Any suppliers or distributors there?

I can't help with UK/Europe.... but might be able to assist with the Asia market.
