Haha yeah I bypassed that step, and like I thought it was clean with hardly anything on the magnet. 166k.

Changed the original serp belt, finally...

    I guess I got my money's worth

    received_322889743652745.jpg

BTW, the top belt is the new one, bottom is the old one. The rest of the belt was similar to those couple cracks in the picture.

Yea it just started to make a little chirp for a minute or 2 in the morning. I always checked it when I changed the oil, but naturally it's hard to see the business side of it with it on the truck. I hadn't seen the cracks...I was hoping for 300k, but with the noise figured I wouldn't push it. Doing that on the side of the road with texting traffic zooming by wouldn't be fun.

I agree, people don’t pay attention to anything anymore. I changed mine and all my pulleys since I had a noisy one.

Whelp, spent a few more dollars on turn signal bulbs after my cheapo Amazon ones went out.

Kept blowing fuses until I had the polarity right

I printed off the a750e/a750e repair manual with the best detail for free. I then assembled it into my own repair manual. I also acquired the 160 point inspection sheet from Toyota and the 2013 Tacoma quick reference guide. With how expensive and labor intensive it would be to make my own Owner's manual it's actually cheaper and easier to order an original manual from eBay and a leather case for it.

Below I've added a file for the repair manual and photos of the manual I assembled.

Well I ordered 6 of these:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Y33UX0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

With their return policy, the worst that can happen is it'll run like shit and I'll send the fake ass things back and put the old ones in to go to the dealership and pay $60ish (so I've heard...haven't checked) for legit ones. Will report after they're changed and have a few miles on them. I'm assuming if they are fake and are going to run like shit, it will happen pretty quickly....we shall see.

Replaced my air outlet on my bumper to a flush mount design.

Looked like CrAp before, now it looks clean. Might make a batch to the community.

    No more erect air chuck.

Yesterday during lunch I cleaned the debris out of the bed. Organized the bin I have in the bed and gave the inside a quick vacuum.

Mostly for my own education and curiosity... how do you release the hose when finished using it? Just my first guess is it has something to do with the slots on either side of center, but that's just a guess. I know how a typical connector works, such as your "erect air hose" lol.....but I've never seen one like this. (BTW, where did you get that flush connector?) Looks great!!

    Thanks

Product looks nice but I’m not so sure about eliminating plate illumination to place it.

Did some heat wrap on exhaust, and the cable coming from locker that runs near exhaust. Probably overkill, but better safe than sorry. IMG_7486.jpg
