Posting this for anyone looking for info on what exhausts are compatible/fit together. I wish I had found better info before doing this to prevent returning pipes that were not designed for my specific model. This is a 2006 Access cab v6 4wd.

From the Y pipe back https://urdusa.com/urd-stainless-3-mark4-exhaust-2005-2012-tacoma-v6/

I had to chop the tail end of the exhaust off because it hit the leaf spring. Maybe because of my 3" Icon suspension with different leafs?

The Y pipe with cats https://urdusa.com/afe-y-pipe-w-converter-05-11-tacoma-v6-2x4-4x4/

Fitment was good, Y connection looked terrible on the inside. Filled in some giant holes in the Y with a mig welder and smoothed out the junction.

These headers installed much easier than expected, The only thing that needed removed was the lower bracket that holds onto the stock headers below the cat. They do not come with a gasket, i bought a composite gasket from oreileys.

This is the full system laid out minus the headers that are already in place. I Went with a large muffler and resonator to keep the sound to a reasonable level. 3" after the y Pipe because i am doing this work to accompany a Magnusson supercharger.IMG_20240127_152804.jpg

And of note: 2005-2011 don’t have the SAIS, 2012-2015 have SAIS. That’s probably the biggest difference between the “same engine” 2nd gen Tacoma.
