    Good Morning folks :hattip:

Typical Spring time weather here in Middle Tennessee with rain just about every other day . Yesterday was able to exercise the Camaro and even did a Transbrake launch before putting it back in the garage

Just checked the website for the upcoming car show season here and it'll start next month !!

Good morning all and Happy Saturday Eve. Another house hunting expedition in Ocala planned for this weekend. We’re slowly narrowing down the neighborhoods we want to get serious about and whether or not 55+ is right for us. My wife envisioned 55+ communities would look like a scene from The Walking Dead but we’ve seen that’s not true as we’ve explored different places. It’s an absolute crime the way they are building new subdivisions there, taking huge open pastures and cramming good sized houses together with 5’ setbacks from the property lines. There are a few older subdivisions with 2000-ish sq ft homes on 1/3 or 1/2+ acre lots with trees and a some with 3-car garages and that’s my dream.

    Sounds like a fun event.

Good afternoon. The ribs are on!

Last night I removed the membrane and cut the racks into individual ribs. Applied a dry rub mixture using the items in the picture. I placed them on a wire rack and into the smoker at 230 degrees. I plan on turning them, spritzing with apple cider vinegar, and rotating them every 30 minutes When the ribs hit 150 to 155 degrees, I plan on wrapping them with foil, adding some BBQ sauce and let them cook until they hit 200 degrees. Bring them in and add some dedicated rib rub, put them back on a rack, and back into the pit for about 15 minutes. Should be a fun cook. 20240308_125317.jpg 20240308_125320.jpg 20240308_130254.jpg 20240308_130432.jpg

That car show / cruise in is one of the largest in the middle Tennessee region and will have 200-300 cars there every Friday evening . They even have quite a few cars there from Bowling Green Kentucky
