First OEM part to fail

Oh no. Rear main?

 

Not for sure, the PCV was plugged and, after cleaning that out, the oil showing up, under the rear main, is getting less and less. So, fingers crossed...

 

Legend has it that no 2nd gen owner has ever needed to change a bulb…as such, 3rd gens are flaming piles of garbage.

 

Driver side door check was the first failure... less than 1000 miles.
Dealer replaced it, but it was 100% step-daughter's hormonal imbalance fault.

True story.

had a customer with an 08 FJ. Did a job for him in 2023 and he said he hasn’t even replaced a bulb. So he got at least 15 years out of his OEM bulbs.

Yes. Turd gens are up to their name now. That ZR2 is getting better looking by the minute.

Sun roof that seized and bent the cab and stayed in body shop for 4 months
Seat belt frame recall, stayed at other body shop for 5 months
Fell off back of transport truck and truck got totaled after seat belt frame recall.

Mine also just burnt out after nearly 6 years. Just lost a fog light for the first time as well.

The license plate lights seem to go once a year tho.
