Some alignment shops do trailers, and you might find out how bad your axle is out. If you lived in the Springs I could recommend a shop that does trailers.

    Other issues:

-How are the bearings? Worn or need adjustment?

-Balanced tires? Some people don't balance trailer tires, but I would recommend otherwise. Ever look into Centramatic wheel balancers? Might be a good choice for you. I have them on my trailers and even my HD truck. I'll go walk out to my trailer and show you what 20K mile trailer tires look like with Centramatic balancers installed and update this post.

    Edit:

Trailer tires. I do run commercial grade tires so keep that in mind.

To show you Centramatics, easier to see on my truck. These BFG KO2's have 18k miles on them.

The green one or the Midnight behind it? The green is just normal but a military edition
The Midnights is super smooth. Definitely a favorite

Just a PSA and I know each of you have your own opinion and favorite shop/dealer. After trying to get Stevinson Toyota West to take care of my needs I finally gave up on them. Their new ownership and organization has run a muck. Service Managers are too busy to answer or return calls - the appointment staff does not know what they are doing - they don't communicate with the parts department to ensure parts are in stock and held for customer specific needs - you show up for the expected service and after waiting for the service writer you are told to wait for the service manager - only to be told by the service manager they can't do you service because they failed to secure the parts - they offer no apology, no indication of when the parts will be in, no indication they will call you when the parts come in, and no idea of if you will need to make the appointment when the parts come in. Seven weeks after making the appointment I'm no further along despite weekly phone calls and emails to the service manager. It took one call to Mountain States Toyota to get what I needed (yes they have the parts in stock, and I verified it with their parts department) and they made an appointment to take care of me next week. I will never use Stevinson Toyota West again to service my truck. Rant over.

Not that I ever brought my car for service but since Larry Miller was bought by Corwin the dealership in Boulder has turned to utter crap.

As soon as Paul, the parts manager for 30 years, retires I’ll never go back.
