I've also got the non-fuel 3/8" M12 ratchet. I concur about the torque being week. Probably not suited for working under the truck, but I've used it for changing out a truck grill. Looking the spec the one I have is 35 ft. lbs. Home Depot list one of the Fuel's at 35 and a different model at 55 ft. lbs.
Mine came in a tool bundle, but for my wants, I don't think I'd buy the 35 ft. lbs. version as standalone purchase.

Just use them like a regular ratchet to break free/tighten fasteners when it doesn't have the torque. I have a non-fuel one and use it all the time for that, and it works great.

Or get the right angle impact.

Yes, I do that also, but given my druthers I'd by the 55 ft. lb. over the 35. I.e, when I did my suspension, I used an impact or normal ratchet. My M12 ratchet gets the most use when I work on my mountain bike.

What on your mountain bike needs a powered ratchet? :tumbleweed:

Nothing specific, but the ratchet lives in the basement workshop and not the garage so that's where it gets the most use. I do maintain the bikes for a family of four.
It's not often that I'm in the garage working on the truck and say I should get the ratchet instead of an impact. The grill replacement on a friend's truck was one of the few instances I can think of.
It's an underutilized tool for me. If it didn't come in a bundle I probably would not own one. There're other Milwaukee tools I'd want before the ratchet: dual power rocket light, 1/2" impact, circular saw....

Seems the consensus on this 3/8 install tool is great? I have a few tools from Milwaukee so it would be easy enough to use this install tool with the batteries I already have and the extra batteries.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
How do you like the milwaukee bits? I've never used them.

Very good especially for the price, the colbalt bits are much better at drilling metal then variouse dewalt bits I've used.
Even better then milwaukee are norseman drill bits.

I just got the bargain pack of Milwaukee Co bits at HD (around 14
bits up to 3/8 for ~$26). The anti-walk tips are the best I have tried. I usually hate anti-walk tips but these are actually an improvement. I didn't buy these in the past due to avoiding the tips, and finally tried it. New favorite bits.

IMG_7569.jpg It’s a torx flip bit. Pretty handy for going back and forth between screws with the two different size heads. It’s holding up fine. Lol, I haven’t really put any thought into if I like it or not. It does what it’s meant to do. With that being said if it’s not on my radar for being a hunk of shit it’s probably fine.
