I installed 2r and smash the hell out of them out in the dunes and they keep up! The rear especially the Coilovers get hot sooner but still never bad enough to notice cavitation! I’ve tried to blow these up and they honestly imo are the best 2.0 out there right now. Even hit some baby jumps but I did sway bar delete, super bump front bumps, timbren active bumps rear, and jba uCA. Man if they start making 2.5s I would be first inline. Yes I know this is an old...
I ordered this exact set .. I want to level my truck and was told to set the front to 1.75 and it would be leveled... How do you like your set after almost a year? What did you set yours at? Do you think the extra in the rear is necessary?

I have had mine almost 2 years now. I still love the ride and the control.

If you want level, then out of the box should be 1.75", that is what mine were. I did install the 1" block from Eibach in the rear because I still wanted some rake.

Thanks, I guess I have researched so much about 2 in 1, I have confused myself ‍♀️‍♀️! Then I ordered the Eibach stage 2 coilovers and was told I would need the 1" in the rear to achieve the look I want.. I was confused to say the least... I contacted the place I purchased from & they said 1.75 in the front and it would be leveled.. Would I be right by thinking the rear shocks that came with the coilovers kit is already set that inch in the rear ORRRRRR am I overthinking this?

Sorry to be a dumba*s about this... I just don't want to install this and have to redo anything.. I plan on doing this once!
You're time and patience is very much appreciated!

The rear shocks are just shocks, no lift comes from them. The lift is from the blocks or add a leaf. The Eibach shocks are extended, can handle up to 1.5" lift vs stock if I'm not mistaken.
    Hope that helps.

Put 1.5 supreme block in rear to keep rear soft. If I add weight I’ll swap packs but make sure it’s a steel block if you’re going to wheel hard. 3” front 1.5” rear eibach stage 2RIMG_2871.jpg Resized_Screenshot_20231113_092919_Gallery.jpg

Had the stage 1 on my 2018 with an AAL. Loved it and zero issues. Got my 2021 and put stage 2R on. This time went with the eibach 1.5” blocks and fronts are just set slightly lower than they came, as I wanted some rake. Rides amazing. No noises or vibrations, other than my needle bearing immediately made the noise after so I had to do the egcs mod. May raise it up if I ever switch to 285’s, but for now, I’m satisfied.IMG_1239.jpg IMG_1245.jpg

Thank you. Just 265/70/17's. Wasn't planning on lifting when I got them or I probably would have gone with 285's.

So you have 1.5 inches in the rear, do you know how much lift you have in the front?
I am looking to get the 2rs with 265/70s and I like the way your rig sits.

It raised the front by roughly 1.75". It is about an inch lower in the front than the rear right now. I think my rear leaf springs have flattened out or something because the rear felt lower to me when I got this truck. It had 30k on it when I got it back in December. I had the identical truck, same year, color, everything and totaled it back in November with 10k on it and the rear just seemed higher to me than this one. At least the front is adjustable to compensate for this.

Long time lurker and have read through this whole thread.

I’m eager to hear from the people who are running the height straight out of box with no adjustments, how does this kit feel when going over normal bumps/potholes/cracks etc. that you encounter on your daily drive?

Looking for a soft and plush leaning suspension setup that isn’t like a pogo stick on every road imperfection and am hung up between this Eibach 2R and the Fox 2.0.

Ride quality is both subjective and prospective. If you are switching from an Off-Road, you will most likely find these shocks firmer and possibly harsher. If you are coming from a Sport, you will most likely find these shocks more controlling and less harsh.

I came from TRD Sport shocks, and I use the word 'shock' loosely. The TRD Sport comes with solid metal rods with some rubber bushings at each end for cushion and can be quite shocking. The factory set up is more sports car than truck. You feel paint lines and a pothole can cause the whole truck to shudder. This is great for nice clean roads and street driving. Not so nice for rougher roads of off the road type driving. The Eibach suspension is far better at handling rough roads with better control of suspension and less transfer into the chassis. They are digressively valved so it still is firm, just not too firm. I am happy with my upgrade.

I did the stage 2 at about 4,000 miles on the truck and the difference is night and day. Perhaps I should have waited longer to allow the stock suspension to "settle" (lol) but when I put these on I drove around looking for speed bumps and curbs to drive over because it is so smooth and no bounce at all. I'd say they are slightly firmer but the rebound valving is amazing. You almost don't feel normal speed bumps while driving at normal 10-15 mph speeds, they're just absorbed. I will never look back. Stock UCA and 1" block in rear with about 2.5" lift in front (slight turn more on driver side for the lean).
