Totally feel this one for you guys.

    Older daughter is 9hrs away
    Younger daughter is 2.5hrs away.
We are happy that they are happy & doing well. But it sure makes it tough to get those extra hugs.
Its also tough on the wife not being able to be involved in every thing they do. Lol (meddle as they call it.)

I’ve got to get out in a little while and do a grocery run. I need a few more camping supplies.

I tried posting in pet section looking for rear seat pet beds, but was disallowed.

I don’t mind sharing river names, its the spots that are closely guarded.

Good morning everyone. Supposed to rain all day here.

    Job search update:
Well, unfortunately the interview I had on Thursday was a No-Go. I got a call from HR late last evening saying the team has another candidate that is much better qualified than I am for the position, so I am out of the running. I admit this position is one that I have no direct experience with, but could easily learn in a very short period. And this was the position that was only paying $30K below what I am looking for, so in the end, it isn't a huge loss.

On another note, I applied for a position doing Major Incidents, which I have 12+ years of recent experience with, and I got an email last evening from their HR asking me to schedule an initial interview for early next week. So this may prove more fruitful.

And again, thank you all, each and everyone, for your continued moral support and cheers in my job search efforts. Coming up on 5 months now.... :(

All I will say is: Follow The Money. Big Pharma and Big Medicine in the US is interested entirely in the almighty dollar, and in nothing else. They will allow nothing to interfere with that cycle.

That said, I will still take our system over socialized medicine/healthcare any and everyday.
