[Update] My wife took the truck to Toyota at around 11:00 today they just released it at 4:30, I spoke with The mechanic that looked at it as well as the service manager, they were unable to determine what was wrong, All they ended up doing was clearing the engine codes and driving it for 30 mi to see if they would come back, I had talked with them about the information that has been shared in this form as well as another form and they found that very helpful, they said that they opened up a case number and they are waiting to hear back from Toyota corporate as to what to do next, they said as of now there's nothing they can do further, they said they will give me a call back to bring the vehicle in if Toyota issues a fix, other than that they said to contact them again if codes come back.

All it took was 600 mi for the check engine light to come on, Not too pleased. Going to the dealership Monday I'll post an update on what exactly it was or at least whatever they tell me.20240309_142044.jpg 20240309_142042.jpg 20240309_142040.jpg 20240309_142038.jpg 20240309_142022.jpg

That's a lot of malfunctions... I'm just sub'd to see what they say, so I know.

Did it rain or snow recently while you were driving?

Does anyone know if this shutter is on all models? Wouldn't it be right behind the front grill? When I look at mine I don't see any? (Limited)

I have had other vehicles with them and it is pretty obvious when looking through the grill.

    You aren't the first.
Water intrusion has reportedly been the issue.

Charging system error is interesting, and could cause the other problems.

Can you check the voltage with a cold engine and when running? Just curious

It takes folks willing to be on the bleeding edge to ferret out new fangled stuff.

Thank you for your (expensive) service to the Taco community

    Something simple let it be.

Those active grill shutters always looked like a hassle to me and a weak spot
