You can do either, but most change the arms.

We had a tacoma in last week that had everything but the upper a arms changed and it looked stupid, no idea why the tech called the whole front end and ignored upper arms.

They ended up having noticeable play and needed to be replaced.

 

About $400 if I bought them now.
Me installing them.

I have lifetime alignment, so I wont have to pay for that.

 

I'm finding them for a bit less...

 

I'm 4WD, and I went with the MevoTech.

BTW, The Honda Ridgeline has control arms in the rear.

 

Ya, gotta be careful you get 5 lug base model upper arms, they are different.

F150 Lightning only has lower a-arms in the rear

No need to replace the LCAs.
If they wore out in 2 years, something is “wrong”.

 

Yea dont change things unless needed. Test then change as needed. I was implying to simply ensure they are good.
