    If I remember correctly I believe he hit a #16 Duracell!IMG_8550.jpg
Possibly a #18 it’s been a while. I’ve purchased a bigger net since then as well!

Do they involve walking to school up hill? Both ways? In the snow?

I did walk to school, until high school, then I rode a bike. Smog, not snow. Uphill one way.

Vinyl bench seats, lap belts that we didn't wear, metal dash, dad smoking with the windows rolled up, no AC, 325 miles between gas stations.
Papa, Mama and junior burgers at A&W. The only tee-shirt you owned was an white undershirt.

Saturday morning cartoons. Davy and Goliath, Tom and Jerry, loony toons, 3 stooges, laurel and Hardy, then get out if the house until the street lights come on.

Milk and bread deliveries, baking soda instead of tooth paste, pf flyers and blue jeans that you wore down yourself, way past the usable stage. I HATED new blue jeans...from sears, of course.

Sears, the place you got everything not food related.

A new, 60s, Chevy Nova was $2500. Stingray bike with a sissy bar, riding barefooted and catching your foot on the ground. Rub it until it stopped bleeding, then get back to playing.

Climbing the tallest tree, until the branches started breaking, no parents around. All day

Sitting down as a family to a meat and potatoes meal. Unless Dad wanted SOS.

    What am I missing?

That sounds exactly like how it was for me growing up in the Bay area of Norcal in a little town called Fremont Calif

@CVYota did your dad or mom take you to your local Post office just before your 18th birthday to register for the selective service system???

Yep, except 9 passenger Chevy station wagon with the rear seat facing backwards, but we just sat on the tailgate to ride to the corner store. And it was a Sears 10-speed for me.

long day but good day. weather was awesome today. and there was a Made in MT tradeshow in Helena so I took off early and spent the day up there shopping and running around. Got some cool stuff from some MT based businesses, got stocked up on groceries that I can't get here at home, had lunch out at my favorite place, spend some quality time with Chebby. walked over 5 miles today. my feet are killing me but it was good to get out.
