I agree with most of that, butt....I think it's perfectly fair for people to express their opinion on price, thats not something only an owner can speak of. Although price does get brought up rather repeatedly by a few folks. Enjoy your new truck, piss on the rest of us. :fistbump:

I haven’t seen a hybrid. Are they delaying that?

They were never planned to be out yet, some time later this year they will be available.

"Whole world" is hyperbole to use someone else's favorite word. There's more 4G's on HOLD than actual owners. Source? Toyota's latest sales numbers.

Tacoma4G may be the go to place for 4G owners but it's a small sample size and their QC hold thread shows a lot more people are waiting for possible issues to be inspected/fixed.

I'd be surprised if they show up that soon, but you never know.

The latest press release (Super Bowl) says Spring, which includes the month of May.

I hope they hit the April target so all of the pricing, options and accessories will be on full display. I’m also hopeful all of that info, including the ebrochure get released this month.

Yes fair enough on the price part. But that holds true from hamburger meat to houses. Thanks, I'm going to take your last sentence advise.

My local dealer actually has an Underground TRDOR with multimedia (big screen), predator steps and not much else for about 48k. Surprised nobody snagged it yet especially being late on a Saturday at a high volume lot. They are a no markup dealer.

Monitor your temps if your truck didn't come with that and you add it.

Reading these last 5 pages was a hoot.

2016 seems like decades ago. Remember 2016? It will be forever known as the Year of The Crank position Sensor.

Meanwhile, 381k thirds gens just got recalled for the rear wheels falling off.

The lack of awareness here is adorable.

I mentioned CPS failure in another thread, was not that many though, small part batch. And all gens have had recalls/TSBs through their histories, rotting frames, fuel pumps, etc. I think most are just noting the fact there are 10k Tacomas at port sitting on a QC hold thats a first. We also didnt see new gens with dropped transmission pans with shavings at roll out. But the grill shutter CEL stuff cause a loose sensor make total sense.
