Hi, I'd like to install USB port on the left side panel. I've found USB outlet to fit as shown in my picture, but not sure what is the best way to get 12V DC. Is there any 12V power lines on the left side?

you can probably add a fuse to the interior fuse panel but i would rather have direct from an auxiliary fuse panel that’s wired to the battery.

    Thanks!
I was thinking about branching out from the center cigarette socket, how do you think this idea?
(In this case fuse is shared with cig socket, but that's okay for my usage)
Is it hard to route the wire from center console to driver's left?

You could do that in this case because that usb socket is probably low amp draw but i don’t like T-tapping in factory harness.. you could probably get some piggy back connectors and make something work instead of splicing factory wires. Just keep in mind if you are using those usb outlets to whatever maximum amps it can handle it will also affect max amperage of you cigarette socket.

and to answer your second question, no it isn’t hard to route the wires. I have a relay signal wire harness branched off between center console switches and left side of steering wheel switches. The underlined harness contains signal wire and positive and negative 12v. I have the split loom harness just ty wrapped to the knee airbag studs. You do have to pop out a blank switch to get any working room to fish the wires. I didn’t want to mar up my plastic so i just removed the infotainment screen and reached down and popped out all the blanks. A long skinny needle nose plier may come in handy.

I solved this by branching from interior fuze box.
This is the easiest way since fuse box is located just underneath left-side dash.
I bought Add-a-Circuit fuse tap with low profile fuse, then just add onto existing fuse for USB.
I used 5A fuse for the additional circuit, this should be enough for my usage.

And I also found that, (I didn't choose this method in the end but) you can branch off from center cigarette socket using faston 250 (or similar) crimp terminal.
Factory harness for cig socket seems to be Toyota-unique and you might think it is impossible to find any T-branch connectors for this weird L-shape tetris-like connector, but actually this is a variation of faston 250 terminal.

    Thanks @SR5yo, for perfect information!
